David Letterman was not at his desk last night, because the talk-show host and his wife, Regina Lasko, were at the hospital. Lasko was in labor yesterday, so Letterman had Music Director, Paul Schaffer, sit in for him. No word yet on the baby.
Also pregnant~ Debra Messing, (Will & Grace), and husband, Daniel Zelman. Their baby is expected next summer.
Sean "P.Diddy" Combs completed the New York City Marathon yesterday. Puff completed the marathon in 4 hours, 14 minutes, after beginning training a mere 8 weeks ago. He lost 15 pounds and endured severe pain in one knee, caused by tendinitis, to raise one million dollars for the children of New York City.
And finally, The View names 3 finalists in the search for a new co-host. They are: Rachel Campos, of Real World~ SanFrancisco; Elizabeth Hassleback, of Survivor~ The Australian Outback; and Erin Hershey Presley, of now-defunct soap Port Charles.
