In honor of Thanksgiving, my contribution to your recipe file is:
Marshmallow Krispie Bars~
Bake a 13X9 pan of brownies. Yup, just plain ole brownies. Out of a box. That's right. Or you could make your own recipe, but whatever, during the last 3 or so minutes that the brownies have to bake, pull them out of the oven, (use hotpads, folks), sprinkle 1 (10 1/2 oz) bag of miniature marshmallows over brownies, return to oven and DON'T FORGET to take them back out in a couple of minutes, mkay?.
Next~ In a medium saucepan, melt 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup creamy, (or not), peanut butter, 1 T. butter, (and please tell me that you're not gonna use Blue Bonnet on it), over lllooowww heat, stirring constantly, (yeah, right). When melted, add 1 1/2 c. Crispy Rice Cereal; mix well. Spread mixture over the brownies. Let! them! cool! completely then cut into cute little squares.
