Wanton Lust

Just got a belated Appetizer entry for last Food Friday!  This sounds so yummy, I want some RIGHT. NOW.  

From the Mensch Files...  

St. Bacchus' Wontons 

1 can lump crab meat, picked over1/2 pound cooked shrimp, shelled, deveined8 oz white mushrooms, cleaned, sliced thin4 - 6 green onions, sliced thin1 T butter2 T Worchestershire sauce1 8 ounce package of reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel)2 packages wonton wrappers Orange marmelade (optional), for dipping Saute mushrooms in 1T butter and 2T Worchestershire sauce until soft.  Cool and tranfer to food processor.  Add softened cream cheese and process until smooth.  Transfer to a large bowl and gently fold in seafood and onions.  Chill at least 30 minutes. Place one tablespoon of the mixture in the center of the wonton wrapper and fold.  Moisten wrapper edges with water to seal. The wontons can then be fried in 1" of vegetable oil and served hot with orange marmelade.  Wontons can also be steamed for 5 - 6 minutes in a bamboo steamer.   Wontons will also keep after frying/ steaming on a cookie sheet in a low oven.
